Somewhere between becoming a mother, building a family, being a wife, working, and making sure everyone else is okay… you can become a little unfamiliar with yourself.

And it’s not always that you regret the life you’ve built. Sometimes you just miss the woman you were before everything required so much of you.

The things you loved. The interests you put down. The confidence you used to carry. The parts of your personality that haven’t had much room to breathe lately.

Maybe you’ve struggled with your self-esteem, body image, or feeling like you’ve lost your identity somewhere along the way.

Here’s a question worth sitting with:

If you picked up the phone and called the parts of yourself you’ve put on hold, what would you say to them?

You don’t have to choose between loving your family and finding yourself again.

You are allowed to grow, change, rediscover yourself, and still be grateful for the life you have.

And if all those feelings exist at the same time? That’s being human. ❤️
